November Umrah Packages 2026 | From the UK

While the UK settles into shorter days, colder mornings, and the run-up to Christmas, November in Saudi Arabia is still warm, dry, and considerably quieter than the year’s busiest travel windows. For anyone wanting one last trip before winter demand and prices creep up, it’s a genuinely good month to go. At Hajj Umrah Travels, we put together November Umrah packages from across the UK  flights, hotels, transport and visa, arranged as a single booking.

A quick honesty note: you’ll sometimes see November described elsewhere as an “auspicious” or “sacred” month for Umrah. It isn’t, in the sense that matters  the Islamic calendar is lunar, so it shifts against the Gregorian calendar every year and doesn’t line up with fixed months like November. What genuinely makes November worth considering is simply the weather, the crowds, and the timing against the UK’s own calendar  and that’s a good enough reason on its own.

What’s Actually Good About Travelling in November

    • A real break from UK weather: Trading a cold, grey November for warm, dry days in Makkah and Madinah is, for a lot of pilgrims, reason enough by itself.

    • Still ahead of the winter rush: December and the approach to Ramadan bring heavier demand. November sits just before that curve, so hotels and flights are typically easier to book at a reasonable price.

    • A quieter Haram: With Ramadan and Hajj season both well out of range, you’ll generally find more breathing room during Tawaf and at the Rawdah.

    • A natural pause before the festive season: For UK travellers balancing work and family commitments over December, a November trip fits neatly before things get busy at home.

    November Weather: What to Expect

By November, Saudi Arabia has settled into its most comfortable stretch of the year. Daytime temperatures typically sit in the high 20s to low 30s°C, with noticeably cool, pleasant evenings  a big change from the summer months and gentler even than our October Umrah packages. If you’re coming from a UK November of single-digit temperatures and early sunsets, it’s a striking contrast, and one of the most physically comfortable times to spend long days at the mosque.

Matching the Hotel Grade to Your Trip

    • 3-star suits pilgrims happy to walk a bit further for a lower price  clean, comfortable rooms, breakfast, and shared coach transport.

    • 4-star steps up to half-board meals and a closer or better-standard hotel, with a guide on hand if you’d like support through the rituals.

    • 5-star is the most restful option: full-board meals, private transport instead of shared coaches, and hotels typically a very short walk from the Haram  worth the extra if you’re travelling with elderly relatives or simply prefer more comfort.

A 14-Night November Itinerary, Day by Day

    1. Day 1–2: Fly from the UK to Jeddah or Madinah, then transfer to your hotel and settle in.

    3. Sa’i: Walking seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwah.

    4. Halq or Taqsir: Men shave or trim their hair, women trim a small portion, completing the rituals.

Travelling With Family, or as a Group

November’s quieter pace makes it easier to keep track of children or elderly relatives, and hotels are generally simpler to book in nearby or connecting rooms outside peak season. Travelling with young ones? Read our guide on how to travel to Makkah with children.

Travelling as a group of six or more? Let us know when you enquire  group bookings often come with better per-person rates, and we can usually keep everyone together on the same flights and in the same hotel.

    FAQS
