No. You should not need to pay another person for a Rawdah permit or QR code. The official Rawdah booking service through Nusuk is free.
Saudi Arabia’s National Platform lists the Rawdah permit service cost as Free, and appointments are booked officially through the Nusuk app. My Government
If somebody asks for money to “sell” you a QR code or guaranteed appointment, treat the offer very cautiously.
Does Nusuk Charge for Rawdah Booking?
No.
The official government service page currently lists:
Service cost: Free. My Government
You choose an available date and time through Nusuk and confirm the booking.
There should not be a separate official fee simply for receiving the Rawdah permit.
Can Someone Sell Me Their Rawdah QR Code?
You should not rely on someone else’s QR code.
Nusuk explains that the entry code appears after a booking is confirmed and that it can be used only once for entry. It also describes the code as belonging to the visitor’s booking. Nusuk Portal
Buying another person’s code creates several risks:
- the booking may already have been used
- the appointment may be cancelled
- the visitor details may not match
- you may lose your money
- you may expose passport or personal information to a stranger
Use your own official booking.
What If Someone Says They Can Guarantee a Slot?
Be careful.
Rawdah appointments depend on official availability.
No stranger outside Nusuk can legitimately create unlimited official capacity inside the Rawdah.
The official platform offers both advance booking and, when available, an Instant Track service for visitors near Masjid an-Nabawi. Nusuk currently says Instant Track opportunities can appear every 20 minutes depending on availability. Nusuk Portal
If normal slots are unavailable, keep checking official options rather than paying someone who promises a guaranteed place.
What If They Ask for My Passport or Visa Details?
Do not send sensitive personal information to an unknown seller.
Your passport details, visa information and phone number can be valuable personal data.
Only enter sensitive information into official services or provide it to a verified travel provider when genuinely required.
If somebody contacts you through WhatsApp or social media offering a paid Rawdah QR code, do not assume they are connected to Nusuk simply because they use an official-looking logo.
What Is the Correct Way to Get a Rawdah Permit?
Use Nusuk.
The current process is:
- Open the Rawdah section.
- Choose the permit service for men or women.
- Select companions if needed.
- Choose an available date and time.
- Confirm the appointment.
- Confirm attendance when required.
- Present the generated QR code at entry.
The government service page confirms this booking flow. My Government
Nusuk currently also requires attendance confirmation, available from 48 hours before the appointment until two hours before it. Nusuk Portal
What If I Already Paid Someone?
Do not send more money until you verify what you received.
Check whether the booking actually appears in your own Nusuk account.
If you are unsure, contact Nusuk support.
You can reach official support through the Nusuk contact service or call 1966 inside Saudi Arabia. Nusuk Portal
