If no Rawdah slots are showing in the Nusuk app, it usually means appointments are not currently available for your selected dates. It does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your visa, passport or Nusuk account.
Keep checking the official Nusuk booking section, make sure your account details are correct, and avoid paying anyone who claims they can guarantee a Rawdah appointment outside the official system.
Do I Need a Permit to Visit Rawdah?
Yes. A prior permit is currently required to pray inside Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah at Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah.
The booking is made through Nusuk, where you select an available date and time and receive the permit electronically. Saudi Ministry guidance continues to identify Nusuk as the official service for Rawdah appointments.
This is different from simply visiting Masjid an-Nabawi.
If you are still unsure how permits work for the wider pilgrimage, read our guide on whether you need a Nusuk permit to perform Umrah.
Why Are No Rawdah Appointments Showing?
The most common reason is simply availability.
Rawdah appointments are limited, and the dates you want may already be booked or may not yet be available through the app.
You may see:
- No available appointments
- No suitable dates
- Coming soon
- A calendar with no selectable slots
Do not assume that repeatedly creating new Nusuk accounts will solve the problem.
If your account opens normally and you can reach the Rawdah booking section, the issue may simply be that there are no suitable appointments available at that moment.
Should I Keep Checking Nusuk?
Yes.
Availability can change, so it is worth checking again as your Madinah stay approaches.
However, avoid relying on social-media claims that slots are guaranteed to appear at one particular hour or on one particular day.
There is no reason to spend your entire trip refreshing the app every few minutes.
Check periodically and use any official availability options displayed in Nusuk.
The Ministry’s UK pilgrim guidance also mentions an instant access feature when available, although access still depends on capacity.
What If Nusuk Will Not Recognise My Details?
If you cannot even reach the booking stage, you may have an account rather than an availability problem.
Check that your information matches your travel documents, especially:
- Full name
- Passport number
- Nationality
- Date of birth
- Visa details
- Email address
Avoid entering slightly different information just to try to create another account.

Can My Umrah Agent Guarantee Me a Rawdah Slot?
You should be cautious if somebody promises a guaranteed appointment.
A travel agency may explain the booking process or help you understand what needs to be done, but Rawdah appointments are issued through the official Nusuk system and remain subject to availability.
Never give money, passport information or Nusuk login details to an unknown person advertising “special” Rawdah permits on social media.
What Should I Do Once I Get a Rawdah Slot?
Check the permit carefully once you successfully book.
Make sure you know:
- The appointment date
- The appointment time
- Which person the permit belongs to
- Where you need to enter
- Any instructions shown in Nusuk
Keep your phone charged and have the permit ready before arriving.
Current Saudi guidance also advises visitors to follow the instructions attached to the permit and confirm attendance where the app requests it.
